The donations collected with this activity will go to Refugees Welcome.

Refugees Welcome is a small, humanitarian organization that provides free legal advice and assistance to asylum seekers. They are also working to improve the refugees’ legal situation in general and to raise awareness about refugees in Denmark.

RW believes that asylum seekers are far from getting the advice and guidance that they need. They make mistakes during the process due to lack of knowledge, and it is very difficult to change wrong decisions. Denmark is at odds with the international conventions for the treatment of refugees, when we do not follow current recommendations from the UNHCR (UN Refugee Agency), and does not guarantee refugees’ legal certainty and equal rights.
