The secrets of a successful job interview, on Thursday 27th of April from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with SOMOS to support Peru

You only get one chance to give a good impression in your job interview. It is key that you are well prepared and able to show your skills and potential!

In this short course, we will go through the whole process: before, during and after the job interview. How to prepare, how to answer the most common questions and the follow up.

Students, job seekers and anyone that want to improve their job interviewing skills is welcome!!

Our volunteer teacher, Maria-Gracia Saenz is a professional HR manager who is willing to share her knowledge with us in order to support her home country, Peru, which is suffering from extreme floodings that are affecting thousands of families. Together with SOMOS, Maria Gracia wants to raise awareness towards the disasters in Peru. Every cent counts and it will be a huge help for them!!

“This really is the worst disaster for the people of northern Peru in decades. Its severity – and the speed with which the waters came – surpassed the capacities of a population to cope”, said Michele Detomaso, the head of the IFRC team in Peru.

According to Peru’s National Institute of Civil Defence (INDECI), 75 people have died and over 625,000 are affected, including more than 70,000 who have lost their homes. The flooding, which started several days ago, is the result of record downpours that have engorged rivers, triggered landslides and wiped away people, crops and buildings. Heavy rains are expected to continue until at least April.

More news about this disaster can be found here.
